The accused could face the death penalty if found guilty.
Three Australian men have been formally charged with pre-meditated murder over the alleged execution of a Melbourne father in Indonesia.
The men, dubbed the “Bali 3”, are accused of planning and carrying out the brutal shooting of Zivan Radmanovic in front of his wife in a villa in June.
They may face the death penalty if found guilty.
They are also alleged to have injured underworld figure Sanar Ghanim in the same incident.
Police finalised their months-long investigation and handed the case to Indonesian prosecutors on Wednesday.
“Today the case file has been declared complete,” Badung police chief Arif Batubara said.
Darcy Jenson, 27, Mevlut Coskun, 22, and Paea I Middlemore Tupou, 26, were marched out of Bali’s notorious Kerobokan Prison by heavily armed officers, loaded into armoured trucks, and taken to the prosecutor’s officer as part of the process.
The trio have not yet entered a plea to the charges and will return to prison for another 20 days before their first court appearance.
Melbourne men Coskun and Tupou are accused of carrying out the killing and escaping into the night after smashing their way through a villa door with a sledgehammer.
Jenson, a Sydney plumber, is alleged to have helped plan and facilitate the murder, including by providing getaway vehicles.
It is alleged to have happened in June in a luxury villa not far from Canggu.
