The InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) Nusa Dua held a charitable gathering and Iftar (breaking of the fast) with the local community at the Ibnu Batutah Grand Mosque, Kampial, on March 13, 2026. The event served as a moment of hospitality and reflection prior to the evening meal.
During the event, 35 orphans aged 5 to 11 received various educational support packages, including school bags and stationery, along with basic food necessities (sembako) and financial assistance.
The General Manager of ITDC Nusa Dua, I Made Agus Dwiatmika state ;
”This afternoon is a reflection of our care for the orphaned children within the Nusa Dua Special Economic Zone (SEZ). This has become an annual tradition for us, especially during Ramadan, to promote messages of peace, preserved diversity, togetherness, and the spirit of sharing. It is fitting that we gather here at the Puja Mandala complex, a sacred site representing the five religions of our nation,” he explained.

Tourism Outlook and Seasonal Occupancy
In addition to the social activities, ITDC highlighted its strategic targets for the festive season. The corporation is aiming for a 75% hotel occupancy rate across the Ramadan, Nyepi, and Eid al-Fitr periods in 2026. As of the first week of March, occupancy remained stable at 67%, with the market still dominated by travelers from Australia and China.
• Regarding the overlap of Nyepi and the Eid festivities this month, ITDC has coordinated with hotel and villa tenants to ensure strict adherence to regulations that maintain harmony with the surrounding traditional villages (Desa Adat). Current booking trends show that the majority of guests opting for 3-day, 2-night “Staycation” or “Nyepi Packages” are residents from within the Bali region. wishes you a happy Nyepi and Eid al-Fitr 2026. To conclude the series of social initiatives, the ITDC Nusa Dua management team also distributed essential food hampers to 17 members of the television and online media at the management office as a gesture of appreciation.
