

DENPASAR – The Bali Regional Police (Polda Bali) have officially confirmed the identity of a mutilation victim found in Ketewel, identifying him as 28-year-old Ukrainian national, Ihor Komarov in two weeks.
Head of Public Relations for the Bali Police, Police Commissioner Ariasandy, S.I.K. (represented by the spokesperson’s office), revealed that forensic laboratory results showed a 99.9% DNA match between samples taken from the crime scene at Villa Sumer in Tabanan and blood samples provided by the victim’s mother.
The victim’s remains, consisting of six body parts, were previously discovered at Roas Teben Beach, Ketewel.

International Manhunt Underway
The Bali Police are currently coordinating with the Ukrainian Embassy, the victim’s family, and Interpol across several countries to track down the suspects. Preliminary investigations indicate that:
• Suspect Profile: There are six suspected perpetrators, all confirmed to be foreign nationals.
• Modus Operandi: The suspects allegedly kidnapped and murdered the victim before dismembering the body.
• Logistics: Authorities have identified and secured an individual involved in the rental of an SUV used to transport the victim. This individual is also suspected of driving the six suspects to Ngurah Rai International Airport.
Investigators are currently tracing the international flight paths of the suspects as the search intensifies.
