DENPASAR – Bali Governor Wayan Koster urged the newly appointed Head of the Regional Office of the Bali Directorate General of Immigration, Ms. Felucia Sengky Ratna, to continue working in synergy with the Bali Provincial Government. This synergy is aimed at realizing Bali’s development based on the vision of “Nangun Sat Kerthi Loka Bali,” which is to maintain the sanctity and harmony of Bali’s natural environment and its contents to create a prosperous and happy life for the Balinese people, both spiritually and spiritually, toward a just, prosperous, and dignified life for the Balinese people.

In this context, Governor Koster emphasized that the synergy between the Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration has been strong, with Immigration playing a key role in monitoring and controlling foreigners who violate regulations in Bali.

Considering that foreigners in Bali engage in a variety of activities, some as tourists, but also some who violate their visas in Indonesia (such as overstaying their permits, misusing visas, for example, working on a visitor visa).

Therefore, on this auspicious occasion, the Governor of Bali, known for his firmness in managing tourism on the Island of the Gods, invited Felucia Sengky Ratna, Head of the Regional Office of the Bali Directorate General of Immigration, to collaborate on implementing good governance in Bali.

“The role of Immigration is crucial, as Bali is the most visited by foreign tourists,” she emphasized on Wednesday February 4, 2026, in the Guest Room of the Bali Governor’s Office.

Governor Koster requested that the established Immigration Task Force continue to carry out its functions, as it is instrumental in educating foreigners to comply with Bali’s regulations.

Upon hearing this, Felucia Sengky Ratna, Head of the Regional Office of the Bali Directorate General of Immigration, and her staff expressed their appreciation to Governor Wayan Koster for his continued encouragement in managing the Bali Province’s governance.

Regarding the program to monitor and regulate foreigners who violate regulations, they agreed that this strategic program should continue.

“Immigration in Bali also still has 100 task force personnel deployed to monitor foreigners in Bali, and these task force personnel are spread across various locations,” he explained.(*)
