This was conveyed by Gede Eka Sandi Asmadi, Communication and Legal Division Head of PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia, I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, on Saturday (2/28/2026).
However, flight operations and airport services at I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport, Bali, generally remain normal.
As of Saturday (February 28th) at 9:00 PM WITA, several flights had undergone schedule adjustments, including:
1. Etihad Flight EY477 from Denpasar (DPS) to Abu Dhabi (AUH) POSTPONED
2. Emirates Flight EK369 from Denpasar (DPS) to Dubai (DXB) CANCELED
3. Emirates Flight EK399 from Denpasar (DPS) to Dubai (DXB) CANCELED
4. Qatar Airways QR963 from Denpasar (DPS) to Doha (DOH) CANCELED
PT Angkasa Pura Indonesia (InJourney Airports), the operator of I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport in Bali, is coordinating with several agencies, primarily airlines, to continuously update flight schedules and handle prospective passengers already at the airport. AirNav Indonesia is monitoring the affected airspace, and with security personnel to anticipate security situations at the airport.
“We urge prospective air passengers to continue communicating with their airlines for flight schedule updates,” said Eka Sandi, adding that they have anticipated this by providing a help desk located on the 2nd floor of the International Departures Terminal, as well as a contact center that can be accessed by telephone at 172 for information updates.
