JAKARTA, March 17, 2026 – InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) has officially announced its support for the 2026 State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) Collective Mudik Program, an annual homecoming initiative organized by the SOE Regulatory Body in collaboration with BPI Danantara. Under the theme “Safe Mudik, Sharing Hope,” the program underscores the commitment of Indonesian SOEs to providing safe, comfortable, and inclusive travel for the public during the Eid al-Fitr season. The official “flag-off” ceremony for the departing bus convoys took place on Tuesday, March 17, 2026, at the Gelora Bung Karno (GBK) Ring Road in Senayan, Jakarta.
As a key partner in this cross-SOE synergy, ITDC is facilitating bus routes from Jakarta to Semarang, Solo, and Yogyakarta. This initiative aims to enhance social connectivity by providing accessible and dignified transportation for citizens returning to their hometowns for the Eid al-Fitr 1447 H festivities.
To ensure a responsible and secure journey, all participants are covered by travel insurance. The fleet consists of buses that meet rigorous transportation safety standards, operated by experienced drivers and adhering to strict Occupational Health and Safety (K3) protocols. This effort aligns with ITDC’s commitment to passenger welfare and contributes to Sustainable Development Goals (SDG) 3 (Good Health and Well-Being) and SDG 11 (Sustainable Cities and Communities) by promoting safer and more inclusive mobility.
Further prioritizing traveler comfort, ITDC provided “goodie bags” containing travel essentials, including drinking water, snacks, vitamins, motion sickness medication, and hygiene kits. These provisions are designed to help passengers maintain their stamina and well-being throughout the trip.
A Massive Logistics Undertaking
The 2026 SOE Collective Mudik Program involves nearly all state-owned enterprises and their subsidiaries, aiming to transport over 100,000 travelers to various regencies and cities across Indonesia. The logistics of the operation include:
• Land Transport: Over 64,000 passengers via approximately 1,400 buses.
• Rail: Nearly 33,000 passengers via 99 train sets.
• Sea: Over 5,000 passengers via 42 ships.
Tedi Bharata, Deputy Head of the SOE Regulatory Body, emphasized that the program is a tangible manifestation of the state’s social concern. “Through the theme ‘Safe Mudik, Sharing Hope,’ SOEs are committed to delivering a safe, orderly, and meaningful homecoming experience, ensuring the public can reach their hometowns with joy and peace of mind,” he stated.
Ahmad Fajar, Acting President Director of ITDC, echoed this sentiment, noting that ITDC’s participation reinforces its role as an “agent of development.”
”Our involvement in this program is a testament to our support for government initiatives to provide affordable and safe travel. By facilitating routes to Yogyakarta, Semarang, and Solo, we hope to ease the journey for families looking to reunite for the holidays,” Fajar said.

He added that this consistent annual involvement reflects ITDC’s belief in sustainable social connectivity. “We believe that this synergy not only supports national traffic management but also strengthens the social fabric by helping people maintain ties with their families and origins through reliable transportation.”
Through this initiative, ITDC aims to ensure that the momentum of Eid al-Fitr 1447 H is celebrated with happiness and safety, fostering a more meaningful holiday for all participants.
