Mataram, Eyewitness | The continuation of the Marina Bay City project in Sekotong, West Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) is now starting to see some clarity following reports of a disagreement within PT Marina Bay Investment, involving Jamie McIntyre, a Commissioner and shareholder of PT Marina Bay Investments, and Adrian James Campbell, who has resigned from his position as commissioner.
Komang Ari Sumartawan, SH, Jamie McIntyre’s attorney, explained in a statement in Mataram, Lombok, that everything has been progressing in stages in accordance with consultant studies and professional evaluations that have resulted in recommendations based on data, technical aspects, and applicable regulations.
“In principle, the development project being implemented by our client in Buwun Mas Village, Sekotong, West Lombok, is ready to follow the direction of the local government,” he said on Tuesday (February 24, 2026).
He also explained that his client, Jamie McIntyre, as commissioner of Marina Bay Investment, will coordinate more extensively with the local community and the local government to ensure the success of the development project at Pengantap Beach in Buwun Mas Village.
“Our client, Jamie McIntyre, is ready to continue the construction and development of this project. Intensive coordination with various parties has been and is being carried out,” he emphasized.
The project, reportedly valued at IDR 17 trillion and built on 13 hectares of land, is approximately 45 minutes from Zainuddin Abdul Madjid International Airport (LOP) in Praya, Central Lombok, and is adjacent to the strategic Mandalika tourism area.
