To maintain a conducive environment for public security and order (Kamtibmas), personnel from the Public Crowd Security Sub-Task Force, part of the 2026 Operasi Ketupat Agung, conducted a dialogue-based patrol at Mertasari Beach, Sanur, on Tuesday (24/03/2026).

The patrol was led by Controlling Officer (Padal) Commissioner I Made Karsa, targeting visitors and locals engaged in activities at the popular tourist destination.

During the operation, personnel did more than just monitor the area; they employed a humanistic approach to deliver safety advisories. Visitors were urged to remain vigilant regarding their personal belongings, ensure the safety of themselves and their families, and adhere to the regulations established within the tourist zone.

In an official statement, Commissioner I Made Karsa said, “We urge all members of the public and tourists to consistently prioritize personal and environmental safety. Remain alert to potential security disturbances and immediately report any suspicious activities to our officers.”

Furthermore, the public is encouraged not to hesitate in contacting the Police emergency hotline at 110 should any significant incidents occur or if they require immediate police assistance.

This initiative is part of the Police’s preventive measures aimed at fostering a sense of safety and comfort for the community, particularly during the Operasi Ketupat period. The goal is to ensure that all public activities proceed securely, orderly, and smoothly.
