Eyewitness KUTA | Waterbom Bali is turning up the volume this April as Waterbom & Friends returns with a special Flavors Bali Edition, bringing two true icons of hip-hop culture to the island for a special back-back poolside session on the decks.
DJ Spinna and Kool DJ Red Alert, both New York natives and renowned pioneers of the genre, will take over Oasis Gardens at Waterbom Bali on Saturday, April 11, 2026.
DJ Spinna is known globally for his seamless genre-blending sets, moving effortlessly between hip-hop, soul, funk and house, while Kool DJ Red Alert is a defining voice of hip-hop’s early days, credited with helping break some of the biggest names in the culture through his legendary New York radio shows.

Together, they bring decades of influence, deep musical knowledge, and an energy that continues to shape dance floors around the world.
The night will also spotlight Bali’s local scene, with support from Westside MuzeeQ and Mikey Moran, creating a line-up that bridges global legacy with homegrown talent.
Set against Waterbom’s tropical Oasis Gardens, the event invites guests to experience a different side of the park — where slides, music, and poolside energy come together after hours. Guests can arrive early to enjoy the park from 4–7PM, before the space transitions into a community backyard dance floor as the sun sets.

Kylie Turner, Head of Marketing Communications at Waterbom Bali, explained that this special edition of Flavors Bali is one of the programs that can support Bali’s current state of improvement. With this one-stop destination, tourists no longer have to travel anywhere else; for just IDR 155,000 per person, a memorable vacation can be enjoyed here.
He revealed that Waterbom & Friends, with its special Flavors Bali edition, is planned to be a regular event every three months, with the next one scheduled for September 2026, featuring DJ KOCO from Japan.

“The plan is to hold this event regularly every three months. Tourists no longer have to travel far for a tropical party atmosphere, as you can enjoy it all here,” he said.
Expect classic tracks, an energetic dancefloor, tropical cocktails, and a few fun extras, including a complimentary Botanical Salon for guests to style up their outfit and an on-site photobooth to capture the night.
The warm atmosphere creates a lively tropical hip hop party, combining a poolside atmosphere with a variety of culinary offerings, creating a different atmosphere.
Melanie, a tourist from Australia, said that her vacation felt different with the party atmosphere and various rides at Waterbom.
“You could say it’s complete. You don’t have to go far to find a place to relax, play in the water, or go clubbing; it’s all here,” she said.
He and his family have visited Bali several times and have made it their second home.
“Don’t waste time going to obscure places and looking for things that drain your energy. This one is in Kuta, and we’ll always come with our family,” he explained.
This edition of Waterbom & Friends continues to build on the series’ growing reputation as one of Bali’s more unique music experiences — bringing together international artists, local talent, and an atmosphere that feels laidback and familiar.
An American tourist named James Cooper also shared his experience at Waterbom Kuta Bali. Although it was his first visit, he was surprised that Bali wasn’t as popular as people often describe it on social media.
“It was an amazing experience, not what you see on social media. I think everything is well-executed. Every place has its pros and cons. You can’t compare one place to another, and Bali has something that no other place has,” he said.
