Denpasar, To welcome the celebration of Chinese New Year 2577 and the 238th anniversary of Denpasar City, the Chairperson of the Denpasar City Family Welfare Movement (TP PKK), Mrs. Sagung Antari Jaya Negara stated its readiness to attend and enliven the Joint Chinese New Year Exercise at Puputan Badung Field on Sunday, February 15, 2026.

He made this statement while receiving an audience with the Joint Chinese New Year Committee and the 238th Anniversary of Denpasar City, accompanied by Mrs. Ayu Kristi Arya Wibawa.

The Mayor and Deputy Mayor also appreciated the enthusiastic and proven performance of the INTI Bali Women and IKBS members in carrying out various social, humanitarian, and public health activities. The committee was also invited to help the government disseminate information and jointly address waste management issues in Denpasar City, and to remind everyone to bring their tumblers during the exercise.

The Committee Chair, Putu Aeni Riawati, S.Ag., stated that the large-scale INTI Bali Joint Chinese New Year, like the Gajahmada Chinese New Year Festival, is held every two years, as directed by the Mayor. Therefore, this year’s Chinese New Year celebrations will be oriented towards social, humanitarian, and health activities, while still displaying lanterns on Gajahmada Street and the surrounding area. Puputan Badung Field, where families and children can enjoy the Chinese New Year atmosphere from an early age, was also held.

It was also announced that in addition to installing lanterns and joint exercise for public health, blood donations and social health services, both medical and traditional Chinese medicine, were also held at the Bali Museum. Social services for the elderly and the community were also held as a way of honoring their parents, ensuring that Chinese New Year becomes a blessing for life.

Sri Wigunawati, representing the Denpasar City National Integration Forum (FPK), expressed her gratitude and appreciation for the FPK’s invitation to participate in the joint Chinese New Year celebrations and the 238th anniversary of Denpasar City. “We are ready to enliven and make this a success, as INTI is also part of FPK, and FPK is part of FPK.” INTI.

Also present were members of the INTI Bali Women’s Committee, Liliwati, S.E., and Dr. Nyoman Sri Susilowati (Yayick), as well as Dr. Fransisca Sorongan from IKBS.
