“I am deeply impressed by the work of these correctional residents in Bali; they are clearly prepared to compete and build livelihoods upon their release,” Yusril stated. “Even now, their products are being purchased by delegates from 44 countries. Is this not a remarkable achievement for them? After browsing the exhibits myself, I purchased a Palembang tenun ikat and four types of Balinese fabrics, all crafted by the inmates.”

The exhibition features six dedicated stalls displaying inmate-crafted goods for sale. Furthermore, the opening ceremony of the congress—held at the Bali International Convention Center from April 14–17, 2026—featured cultural performances by 261 inmates, who participated as dancers and musicians also arts decorations inside the ballroom BICC – Nusa Dua.
