Driven by strong regional economic growth, Krista Exhibitions has announced the 7th edition of Bali Interfood 2026, taking place September 2–4, 2026, at the Bali Nusa Dua Convention Center (BNDCC).

The announcement follows Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS) data showing Bali’s economy grew 6.91% in Q2 2026, led by accommodation and F&B services, which contributed 21.91% to the regional economy.

This year’s event features 110 exhibitors from eight countries—including China, Malaysia, Thailand, Singapore, Vietnam, Japan, France, and host nation Indonesia—alongside 35 local MSMEs. Organizers expect to draw 15,000 professional visitors.

Co-located with specialized expos including Bali Hotel & Tourism, Bali Coffee Expo, Bali Wine & Spirit, and Bakery Indonesia Expo 2026, the trade show showcases processing technology, raw materials, foodservice equipment, and packaging solutions.

“Bali’s tourism, hospitality, and F&B sectors are expanding in tandem,” said Daud D. Salim, CEO of Krista Exhibitions. “Bali Interfood provides a strategic platform for industry players to launch products, network with partners, and track global market trends.”

The current trend of cooking with Balinese spice blends has become significant in culinary exhibitions and expos, particularly in Bali, as it adds extra value to introducing authentic Balinese dishes and cuisine.

The Chairman of the Indonesian Hotel and Restaurant Association (PHRI) Bali branch, Tjokorda Oka Artha Ardhana Sukawati, fondly known as Cok Ace ;

“There are many variations of cooking techniques offered in Bali’s cooking classes through their own unique methods, such as those found in the Ubud area. We hope this can narrow down to the fine details of the dishes—like Balinese duck, which can be prepared with various authentic Balinese spice blends. We hope this trend brings a positive impact to our community, as well as to the upcoming 27th Krista Interfood Bali event in Nusa Dua.”

Cok Ace also added that tourist arrivals in Bali experienced a decline during the July period, with a 2.4% decrease between July 2025 and July 2026, while current hotel occupancy in 2026 stands at 65%.
