The Bali Regional Police (Polda Bali) continue to strengthen public information transparency amid rapid technological advancements and dynamic digital news flow. This commitment was highlighted during a coordination meeting of the Information and Documentation Management Officers (PPID), held at the Polda Bali Rupatama Hall.
The event was attended by PPID officials and personnel, Public Relations heads from sub-district commands, and PPID system operators across the Bali Police jurisdiction. The meeting served as a strategic platform to align perspectives and enhance public information management within the force.
​During the sessions, participants received training on leveraging public relations IT tools to build positive public sentiment while actively countering negative press regarding the Indonesian National Police (Polri).
Additionally, speakers delivered presentations on using e-Monev (electronic monitoring and evaluation) to support transparent governance, emphasizing strict compliance with information uploads and data entries into Polri’s Integrated Information Reporting System (SPIT).
Another key topic addressed was the urgency of building public information resilience to combat disinformation in the digital age—a critical priority given how rapidly mis- and disinformation can spread among the public.
Through this initiative, Polda Bali calls on all PPID and PR personnel to consistently deliver fast, accurate, and responsible information, ultimately reinforcing police transparency and deepening trust with the community.
