The Bali Regional Police moved swiftly to respond to the forest and land fire (Karhutla) emergency engulfing parts of West Kalimantan.
Bali Police Chief Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya personally led the send-off ceremony for one company-level unit (SSK) comprising 110 personnel from the Bali Police Mobile Brigade (Satbrimob), deployed under Operational Command Control (BKO).
The departure ceremony for the elite personnel took place at the Base Ops of I Gusti Ngurah Rai Air Force Base in Tuban, Badung, prior to their airlift to Pontianak, West Kalimantan.

This cross-island deployment serves as a demonstration of national solidarity and comes as a direct order to assist the West Kalimantan Regional Police and relevant agencies in containing the escalating hotspots across expanding peatlands.
In his briefing, the Bali Police Chief instructed all personnel to maintain their health, prioritize safety on duty, and remain fully dedicated to helping the people of West Kalimantan overcome the haze disaster and environmental damage.
The deployment of the Bali Police Brimob unit to the frontlines of the firefighting effort is expected to accelerate containment operations and minimize the disaster’s severe impacts on local communities.
The 110 personel will flight to Jakarta first then to West Kalimantan with Batik Air today.
