JAMIE McINTYRE REJECTS CLAIM THAT THIRD PARTY WAS AUTHORISED TO DIVERT MARINA BAY CITY BUYER PAYMENTS

Jamie McIntyre and his legal lawyer Widia Fice, S.H has publicly rejected any suggestion that a third party was authorised to alter Marina Bay City Lombok sales contracts, substitute offshore bank-account details, retain buyer payments and leave a LUX-associated company carrying the development obligations.

“Of course not. The suggestion is absurd,” Mr McIntyre said.

“No rational commercial arrangement would allow a third party to take 100% of buyers’ money while transferring 100% of the construction liability to the developer.”

LUX Property Group says it will continue cooperating with the relevant authorities and providing contracts, communications, corporate records and banking evidence

Mr McIntyre alleges that:

• Sales contracts and payment instructions were altered without the responsible developer’s informed consent;

• Buyers were directed to accounts connected with the third party or its associates;

• A payment-transfer company represented as independent was allegedly not independent;

• Buyer funds may have been recycled and presented as the third party’s investment contribution; and

• Approximately A$6–7 million in buyer payments remains unaccounted for.

These allegations are disputed and have not been finally determined by a court. All parties remain entitled to the presumption of innocence concerning unresolved criminal allegations.

Mr McIntyre has called for authorities to examine the complete banking trail and determine:

Who changed the payment details?

Who controlled the receiving accounts?

How much buyer money was received?

Where was it transferred?

How much ultimately reached the developer responsible for construction?

He said the dispute has damaged Marina Bay City, its buyers and broader investor confidence in Lombok.

“This matter must be determined through evidence—not competing publicity campaigns,” Mr McIntyre said.

“Follow the contracts. Follow the bank accounts. The banking records will show who received the money and where it went next.”

LUX Property Group says it will continue cooperating with the relevant authorities and providing contracts, communications, corporate records and banking evidence.
