Eyewitness – The Nusa Dua InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) continues to demonstrate its commitment to elevating the standards of The Nusa Dua through an extensive rejuvenation program on Peninsula Island. As of Week 16 (April 12–18, 2026), the project has reached a realization rate of 14.42%.

In an update as of April 27, 2026, several key work packages have shown significant milestones. The rejuvenation and restructuring of the access road from Gate AC to Peninsula Island has reached 30.48% completion. Meanwhile, the Water Blow access and Peninsula Island landscaping work have progressed to 74.91%, and the installation of waste systems, infiltration units, and the Ground Water Tank (GWT) stands at 12.63%.
​General Manager of The Nusa Dua, I Made Agus Dwiatmika, emphasized that this rejuvenation program is a strategic move to maintain the precinct’s competitiveness as a premier, sustainable tourism destination.
​”Our current focus on the Peninsula Island area is not merely about aesthetic enhancement; it is about ensuring our infrastructure and public facilities are more adaptive to the demands of international events and high-end tourism,” he stated.

• ​Water Blow Enhancement: Upgrading the area with a dedicated wedding venue.
• ​Infrastructure: Constructing a new stage area and laying andesite stone finishing for pedestrian pathways.
• ​Water Management: Developing rainwater infiltration units along The Bay access road.
• ​Public Amenities: Building new tourist restrooms and massage pavilions (bale massage) for local community groups.
