

DENPASAR – Bali Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Daniel Adityajaya, SH, SIK, MSi, led the destruction of a massive haul of illicit narcotics on Wednesday morning, March 4, 2026. The ceremony took place at the provincial police headquarters’ Narcotics Directorate (Ditresnarkoba).
The event was attended by representatives from the Prosecutor’s Office, the District Court, the Health Office, the Bali Food and Drug Monitoring Agency (BBPOM), Customs and Excise, the Bali National Narcotics Board (BNNP), and prominent community leaders.
Breakdown of Seized Evidence
The Bali Police Chief detailed the following quantities of destroyed narcotics:
Substance and Quantity,
1. Crystal Meth (Sabu) : 5,661.86 grams
2. Ecstasy : 4,932 pills (2,452.92 grams)
3. Cocaine : 1,186.75 grams
4. Marijuana (Ganja) : 10.58 grams
5. Hashish : 2.32 grams
6. THC : 35.96 grams
7. Psilocin : 2 grams.

Saving the Next Generation
Inspector General Adityajaya emphasized that Bali remains steadfast in its war against drug trafficking. He noted that the market value of the seized evidence exceeds IDR 23.5 billion. More importantly, the police chief estimated that this operation has successfully saved approximately 39,256 lives from the dangers of drug abuse.
”This destruction is part of a routine, programmed effort to maintain a conducive environment in Bali,” the Chief stated. He added that the public destruction of evidence is crucial to ensure transparency and prevent any loss or tampering of seized goods.
The Bali Police further warned that a lack of public awareness regarding drug abuse poses a grave threat—not only to individuals but to the future stability and survival of the nation.
