VinFast Enters Bali Market, Launches Electric Motorcycle with Range of Up to 150 Km

Badung, Eyewitness | PT Sentrik Persada Nusantara officially opened the first VinFast e-Motorcycle showroom in Bali on Jalan Raya Canggu, Badung, Wednesday (29/7/2026). The presence of this dealer is an important milestone for VinFast’s expansion on the Island of the Gods as well as being part of the simultaneous inauguration of 20 pioneer VinFast dealers in various regions of Indonesia.

This dealer, located in the Canggu tourist area, is not only a sales center for electric motorbikes, but also provides 3S services (Sales, Service and Spare Parts), so that consumers get convenience from purchasing, maintenance to providing official spare parts.

General Manager of PT Sentrik Persada Nusantara, Kadek Pande Yulia Sanjaya, said Bali was chosen because it has a huge market opportunity for electric vehicles. Apart from being an international tourist destination that is Indonesia’s showcase in the eyes of the world, the regional government also continues to encourage the acceleration of the use of electric vehicles as part of its commitment towards more environmentally friendly transportation.

“This dealer is part of the first 20 VinFast dealers in Indonesia. Previously VinFast was present via four-wheeled vehicles, and now we are bringing electric motorbikes to the people of Bali,” he said.

In the initial stage, VinFast presented three electric motorbike models designed to meet the needs of the Indonesian people, namely the Evo, Viper and Feliz II. The three models are offered with a choice of one battery or two batteries so that consumers can adapt to their daily mobility needs.

The Evo model is the most affordable variant. With one battery with a capacity of 1.5 kWh, this motorbike is priced at IDR 23.5 million, while the two-battery version is marketed at IDR 27 million. VinFast also offers a battery subscription scheme so the initial price is lower, namely IDR 19.7 million.

For the Feliz II model, the market price for one battery is IDR 24.5 million and two batteries IDR 28 million. Meanwhile, through the battery subscription scheme, consumers only need to pay IDR 20.7 million.

The Viper model is the highest variant with a price of IDR 27.5 million for one battery and IDR 31.5 million for two batteries. Through a battery subscription scheme, this motorbike is offered starting from IDR 24 million.

According to Pande, the biggest challenge for the electric vehicle industry today is no longer product quality, but building public trust in the ecosystem supporting electric vehicles.

Because of this, VinFast chose to build an ecosystem first before expanding sales massively.

In Bali, VinFast targets developing up to 5,000 charging and battery exchange points. This infrastructure will be developed in stages through the V-Green ecosystem so that users no longer need to worry about battery availability or charging facilities.

Apart from that, VinFast also implements a subscription battery system. Through this system, the condition of the battery is the responsibility of the ecosystem service provider so that consumers do not need to think about decreasing battery performance as it ages.

“We want to answer people’s concerns regarding charging and the condition of electric vehicle batteries,” he said.

Marketing will also be expanded to various districts and cities in Bali through a number of distribution channels. The presence of a showroom in Canggu is the first step before expanding the sales network and after-sales service in various regions.

During the grand opening, VinFast also provided a special promotion in the form of a discount of IDR 1.6 million for consumers who purchased electric motorbikes on the opening day of the showroom.

“Product quality is ready and the ecosystem continues to be built. We hope that policy implementation can run so that the use of electric vehicles becomes more widespread, including among ASN as pioneers,” he said.

Deputy CEO Sales and Dealer Network VinFast e-Motorcycle, Handy Kanaga, said the VinFast dealer in Bali is managed by PT Sentrik Persada Nusantara which is part of a network of 20 pioneer VinFast dealers in Indonesia. According to him, the company’s experience in the two-wheeled vehicle business is important capital to accelerate market penetration of electric vehicles in Bali.

“We hope that PT Sentrik can develop together with VinFast and become an entry point to strengthen market penetration in Bali,” he said.

Handy emphasized that the company will continue to present new products according to the needs of Indonesian consumers. The development of electric vehicle technology will go hand in hand with the development of the ecosystem so that people are increasingly confident in switching to electric vehicles.

Meanwhile, the Operational Director of PT Sentrik Persada Nusantara and PT Sentrik Mobilindo Perkasa, Ni Nyoman Ayu Cintya Diantari, said the company is targeting initial sales of around 100 to 300 electric motorcycles by the end of 2026. However, in the initial stage, the company’s main focus is not only chasing sales figures, but also introducing electric vehicle technology while increasing public understanding of its benefits and how to use it.

According to him, public education will be carried out through various activities in collaboration with government agencies, communities, and the private sector. The company also provides training on electric vehicle maintenance as part of its after-sales service.

“We’re not just selling vehicles; we also want people to understand how to maintain electric vehicles so they’ll be more confident in making the switch,” he said.

He added that Bali was chosen because it has a very potential market. In addition to local residents starting to open up to electric vehicles, the Canggu area is also a hub for domestic and international tourists, who are considered to be highly concerned about an environmentally friendly lifestyle.

In terms of specifications, all three models marketed use Lithium Ferro Phosphate (LFP) batteries, known for their high safety and longer lifespan. All models offer the option of a single 1.5 kWh battery or two batteries with a total capacity of 3 kWh.

For the VinFast Evo, a single battery can travel up to 85 kilometers at a maximum speed of 70 km/h. The dual-battery version can travel up to 150 kilometers at a maximum speed of 80 km/h. This motorcycle has a maximum power of 3,000 watts in the single-battery version, increasing to 5,200 watts in the dual-battery version.

The Feliz II model offers larger dimensions, measuring 1,913 mm in length. The single-battery variant can travel up to 82 kilometers at a maximum speed of 70 km/h. The dual-battery version, meanwhile, has a range of up to 145 kilometers at a maximum speed of 90 km/h. Maximum power outputs reach 3,000 watts and 5,200 watts, respectively.

Meanwhile, the VinFast Viper also offers similar specifications, but with larger dimensions, measuring 1,950 mm in length. The single-battery version has a range of up to 82 kilometers, while the dual-battery version can reach 145 kilometers at a maximum speed of 90 km/h.

All models require approximately nine hours to charge from 0 to 100 percent using standard charging. VinFast also offers a four-year vehicle warranty (up to 60,000 kilometers) and a two-year battery warranty (up to 12,000 kilometers), providing long-term peace of mind for consumers.

With a combination of competitive pricing, battery purchase and subscription options, a 3S service network, thousands of charging and battery exchange points, and a long warranty, VinFast is optimistic about accelerating the adoption of electric vehicles in Bali. Through this first dealership on the Island of the Gods, the company hopes Bali can become a benchmark for the development of the national electric vehicle ecosystem while encouraging cleaner, more efficient, and more sustainable transportation.
