May 11, 2026 — InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) secured two prestigious honors at the 2026 BUMN Entrepreneurial Marketing Awards (BEMA), hosted by MarkPlus Inc. at the Grand Atrium Kota Kasablanka, Jakarta, on Wednesday (May 6).
ITDC was recognized in two categories—Key Elements of Marketing and Tech Marketing. These accolades serve as a testament to ITDC’s successful marketing transformation and the development of a robust destination ecosystem. This ecosystem integrates sport tourism, hospitality, MICE (Meetings, Incentives, Conventions, and Exhibitions), digital engagement, and sustainable tourism across its flagship properties: The Nusa Dua, The Mandalika, and The Golo Mori.

Creating Meaningful Experiences
Acting President Director of ITDC, Ahmad Fajar, emphasized that modern tourism marketing has shifted beyond mere destination promotion toward creating meaningful experiences and sustainable value.
”As a developer and manager of integrated tourism estates, ITDC continues to bolster the quality and competitiveness of our destinations by developing a tourism ecosystem linked to strategic activations. National and international events held across our sites are central to our strategy to increase destination appeal, optimize land utilization, attract investment, and generate economic impact for local communities,” Fajar stated.
Strategic Regional Development
Fajar highlighted The Mandalika as a prime example of integrated sport tourism development. By hosting high-caliber events such as MotoGP, GT World Challenge Asia, the Mandalika Festival of Speed, and the Pocari Sweat Run, alongside cultural festivals, ITDC has successfully stimulated regional economic growth and solidified West Nusa Tenggara’s position on the global stage.
Meanwhile, The Nusa Dua continues to solidify its reputation as a premium hospitality and MICE hub. The estate leverages world-class infrastructure, international resorts, and global-standard convention centers to host international forums and global conferences, all while prioritizing green zone development and wellness tourism.
In Labuan Bajo, The Golo Mori is being positioned as a premier ecotourism and marine-based destination, focusing on sustainability and the preservation of authentic natural beauty.

The Gold Standard of Marketing
The BUMN Entrepreneurial Marketing Awards (BEMA) is an annual event honoring state-owned enterprises (BUMN), their subsidiaries, and regional-owned enterprises (BUMD) that excel in implementing marketing strategies based on the frameworks developed by marketing gurus Philip Kotler and Hermawan Kartajaya.
Judging criteria include a company’s ability to:
• Drive marketing innovation.
• Strengthen brand image and customer engagement.
• Leverage digital technology.
• Create sustainable business impact and added value for the industry and society.
”This award reinforces ITDC’s commitment to strengthening tourism management. We aim to create ecosystems that are not only world-class destinations but also competitive and sustainable. Moving forward, ITDC will continue to drive innovation to solidify our estates’ positions as global tourism leaders,” Fajar concluded.
