Key Details of the Operation
On April 28, 2026, a joint task force from Polresta Denpasar and the Kuta Sector Police (Polsek Kuta) raided a guest house in Kuta. The operation secured 30 suspects, comprising 26 foreign nationals (WNA) and 4 Indonesian citizens (WNI).
The breakdown of the foreign nationals involved is as follows:
• 12 Philippine nationals
• 5 Chinese nationals
• 4 Taiwanese nationals
• 4 Kenyan nationals
• 1 Malaysian national

Evidence Seized
During the search of the premises, particularly on the second floor, authorities discovered a sophisticated setup prepared for fraudulent activities. Evidence seized at the scene includes:
• High-tech Equipment: Computers, keyboards, and a Starlink satellite internet terminal.
• Tactical/Fraud Paraphernalia: FBI-branded attributes and various flags.
• Operational Scripts: Printed scripts or manuals specifically designed to be used in executing scamming schemes.
• Office Infrastructure: Numerous desks and cabinets used to facilitate the illicit operation.

Transnational Crime Prevention
This successful raid has effectively thwarted what authorities describe as a cross-border scamming network. Following the arrests, Polresta Denpasar is taking the following strategic steps:
• Immigration Coordination: Authorities are coordinating with the Directorate General of Immigration to process Administrative Immigration Measures (TAK) against the foreign nationals involved.
• International Cooperation: Polresta Denpasar will collaborate with the National Police International Relations Division (Hubinter) and foreign police attachés to monitor and prevent foreign nationals from engaging in criminal activities within Indonesia.
”This operation is a testament to our commitment to ensuring Bali remains safe from international syndicates,” stated a representative from Polresta Denpasar. The suspects remain in custody for further investigation.
