Director General of Immigration, Hendarsam Marantoko, has strongly condemned the “Bali Silent Disco” running event organized by foreign nationals (WNA), which is suspected of violating regulations and discriminating against locals. He stated that Immigration authorities have placed a entry ban (denial of entry) on the two foreign nationals involved.

“This running event represents a ‘state within a state.’ Currently, the foreign nationals in question are known to be outside Indonesian territory, and Immigration has imposed an entry ban against them. I have instructed Bali Immigration personnel to inspect the event organizer—if any foreign nationals are involved, arrest them immediately,” Hendarsam asserted.

Hendarsam added that foreign nationals are not permitted to manage or organize events in Indonesia. Foreigners are only allowed to serve as official crew members or team staff in events involving international performers or artists.

It was revealed that the running event was organized by Entourage Bali, with two Dutch nationals identified as the organizers: JAS (35), a holder of a Limited Stay Permit (ITAS) for work, and HQV (37), an Investor ITAS holder.

Director General of Immigration emphasized that any activity involving foreign nationals must comply with the rules, with zero tolerance for public order violations

“The two foreign nationals left Indonesian territory on Wednesday night, July 23, 2026, aboard a KLM flight bound for Singapore via I Gusti Ngurah Rai International Airport. We have now added both individuals to the travel ban and entry refusal list,” Hendarsam stated on Friday (24/07/2026).

As a follow-up action, the Ngurah Rai Immigration Office has issued a summons to the guarantor/sponsor of the two foreign nationals, PT SIG. During the examination process, the sponsor will be questioned regarding the activities of the individuals during their stay in Indonesia, including compliance with their granted stay permits. If the guarantor/sponsor is found to have violated immigration laws, appropriate legal action will be taken.

Meanwhile, the Director General of Immigration emphasized that any activity involving foreign nationals must comply with the rules, with zero tolerance for public order violations.

Foreigners are not allowed to act as though they can establish their own rules and exclusivity within Indonesian jurisdiction.

”Every legal protection and service we provide stems from the principle of ‘Immigration for the People.

” This means the state’s presence through immigration functions must consistently ensure justice, public order, and the comfort of local citizens against any unlawful actions by foreign nationals,” the Director General concluded.
