The Denpasar District Court panel of judges has sentenced a Dutch national, Nirul Rashim Abdoelrazak, to three years in prison for cultivating marijuana plants. The panel of judges also rejected Nirul’s defense, which claimed the marijuana was intended for his medical treatment.
