Eyewitness – Nusa Dua Strengthening its commitment to environmental and cultural preservation, InJourney Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC), through its Social and Environmental Responsibility (TJSL) program, donated 15 waste bin units to the organizing committee of the Ida Bhatara Turun Kabeh ceremony on Monday (20/04). This contribution serves as ITDC’s support in maintaining cleanliness and ensuring the smooth execution of one of Bali’s largest annual religious ceremonies, particularly in managing the surge of waste during the event. I Made Agus Dwiatmika, General Manager of The Nusa Dua, accompanied by the ITDC CSR team, personally handed over the donation to the committee at Pura Agung Besakih.

This program is a continuation of similar initiatives previously conducted by ITDC at various other temples across Bali. By providing waste management facilities, ITDC aims to foster a clean and organized environment while upholding the sanctity of the temple grounds during major ceremonies that draw thousands of pilgrims.
General Manager of The Nusa Dua, I Made Agus Dwiatmika, stated that the assistance focuses not only on cleanliness but also represents the company’s contribution to balancing tourism, culture, and the environment. “ITDC promotes sustainable tourism practices by strengthening community-based waste management in sacred areas—a reflection of the harmony between environmental preservation, cultural values, and social responsibility,” he remarked.
He further added that through the CSR program, ITDC strives to provide tangible contributions that directly benefit the community, the environment, and the preservation of local cultural values. “We want to ensure that sacred religious activities like Ida Bhatara Turun Kabeh can proceed comfortably while remaining mindful of environmental sustainability.
This is a concrete manifestation of our commitment to supporting the harmony between humanity, nature, and culture,” he said.

ITDC consistently prioritizes Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles in every initiative, including community-based programs that deliver a direct impact on the public and the surrounding environment
