Chair of the Bali Provincial Posyandu Advisory Team, Mrs. Putri Koster, received an audience from the leadership of Wanita Hindu Dharma Indonesia (WHDI) Bali at the Nari Graha Building, Denpasar, on Monday (21/9/2026). The meeting focused on strengthening synergy in character education, deepening the understanding of Hindu values, and driving community empowerment.
During the meeting, Mrs. Putri Koster affirmed her full support for WHDI Bali’s presence and initiatives, emphasizing the organization’s strategic role as a Hindu women’s body dedicated to disseminating religious values and teachings across the community.
“WHDI must continue to grow and maintain an active presence in society as a hub for communication and information regarding Hindu teachings. Through this platform, we can strengthen our community’s understanding while shaping mindsets, attitudes, and behaviors rooted in religious values,” stated Mrs. Putri Koster.
She added that a solid understanding of religion must also translate into everyday social life, particularly in fostering tolerance and peaceful coexistence amid diversity. “Religious understanding must serve as a guiding compass in life, including how we maintain etiquette, ethical conduct, and mutual respect alongside other religious communities,” she added.
Meanwhile, the Chair of WHDI Bali, Tjokorda Istri Sri Ramaswati, outlined plans to host a webinar titled “Catur Guru” targeting teenagers, specifically middle and high school students.The webinar is designed to instill the core values of Catur Guru into the younger generation within today’s fast-evolving digital era. Strengthening character education through this initiative is also expected to help youth navigate complex social issues, including bullying.
“By imparting the principles of Catur Guru to youth, we hope to provide them with a moral anchor in their thoughts and actions, keeping them within the boundaries of religious values. A deep grasp of Catur Guru is envisioned to mold stronger, ethical, respectful, and character-driven individuals,” explained Tjokorda Istri Sri Ramaswati.
Mrs. Putri Koster expressed her hope that WHDI Bali’s impact will extend beyond religious affairs to play a broader role in educating the public through academic instruction, spiritual teachings, and various social outreach programs.
The collaboration between the Bali Provincial Posyandu Advisory Team and WHDI Bali is anticipated to deliver sustainable benefits while serving as a lasting legacy for the organization in raising the caliber of Hindu human resources.
“We hope this synergy becomes a lasting legacy for the organization in advancing Hindu human resources. Guided by Hindu teachings and deeply rooted in local customs, traditional practices (dresta), and indigenous wisdom, our goal is to cultivate a superior, high-quality, and character-driven generation,” concluded Mrs. Putri Koster.
