Bali Immigration Detains 62 Problematic Foreign Nationals During “Dharma Dewata” Patrol 2026

Bali Immigration Succeded, on Dharma Dewata Patrol conduct 2026

Eyewitness – DENPASAR
Over the past twenty days, Bali Immigration officials have successfully apprehended 62 Foreign Nationals (WNA) detected committing various immigration violations across the island during the “Dharma Dewata Immigration Patrol.”
Felucia Sengky Ratna, Head of the Bali Regional Office for the Directorate General of Immigration, explained that the operation targeted high-risk areas within the jurisdictions of the Ngurah Rai, Denpasar, and Singaraja Immigration Offices.
”The patrol’s focus includes monitoring foreign nationals who have exceeded their stay permits (overstaying), providing false data for visa applications, and misusing residency permits for illegal activities—such as working without authorization or involvement in fraudulent investments,” Felucia stated. She added that the operation also aims to mitigate security disturbances and ensure public protection.

A “Zero Tolerance” Policy
Responding to the findings, the Director General of Immigration, Hendarsam Marantoko, issued a stern warning to all foreign nationals residing in Indonesia, particularly in Bali. Hendarsam emphasized that there will be no tolerance for foreigners proven to have committed immigration violations that disrupt national stability.
”I have ordered all ranks to take firm action without compromise. We welcome high-quality tourists and foreign investors; however, for those who disparage Indonesian law, there are only two choices: comply with our regulations or leave Indonesian territory immediately,” Hendarsam declared.

He further noted that Bali serves as Indonesia’s “storefront” to the world and reflects the nation’s dignity. The authorities, he insisted, will not allow foreign individuals to damage the social or economic fabric of the local community.

Enhanced Surveillance and Digital Integration
The Director General also mentioned that surveillance is becoming increasingly stringent through the integration of digital data and massive field patrols conducted throughout Indonesia.
Yuldi Yusman, Director of Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement, reaffirmed his department’s commitment to strengthening field operations.
”We continue to bolster our surveillance and enforcement functions to detect potential violations as early as possible. This crackdown is tangible proof that the Directorate of Immigration Intelligence and Enforcement provides no room for foreign nationals who break the law and disturb public order,” Yuldi concluded.
The Head of the Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration in Bali, Felucia Sengky Ratna, added that these efforts are a form of protection for the dignity of tourism in Bali Province.
”Patroli Dharma Dewata is our commitment to ensure that only foreign nationals who provide benefits and respect local values are allowed to stay and reside. The presence of foreigners working illegally must be addressed to protect the economic ecosystem of local residents and maintain a healthy investment climate,” Felucia stated.
She mentioned that supervision is carried out thoroughly to maintain security stability. “We have instructed officers in the field to act persuasively while prioritizing professionalism. The Bali Regional Office of the Directorate General of Immigration fully supports the policies of the Directorate General of Immigration regarding law enforcement against foreign nationals who commit immigration violations,” she added.
Currently, the foreigners (WNA) who were caught are undergoing examination by immigration investigators. Severe administrative sanctions are being prepared, ranging from detention and deportation to being barred from re-entering Indonesia for a certain period from 5 years to life, also given education on purpose by bali immigration.
”We urge the public to remain proactive in reporting any suspicious activities by foreigners through official complaint channels to maintain mutual security and comfort for the community in Bali,” Felucia concluded.
