Eyewitness – THE NUSA DUA
Indonesia Tourism Development Corporation (ITDC) and PT Bank Rakyat Indonesia (Persero) Tbk. (BRI) have partnered to host the BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market 2026, held on August 8–9, 2026, at the Sidewalk Peninsula Island, The Nusa Dua, Bali.
Carrying the theme “Connecting Culture, Community, and Sustainable Living,” the event features over 50 tenants, including Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), creative communities, and eco-friendly product vendors. The initiative aims to diversify visitor experiences while boosting the local economy through MSME empowerment, creative sector growth, cultural preservation, and the implementation of sustainable tourism practices.
Over the two-day event, visitors can explore premium MSME goods, authentic Indonesian cuisine, eco-friendly products, cultural performances, live music, wellness sessions, and interactive workshops—all open to the public free of charge. More than a weekend festival, the market serves as a strategic platform for local entrepreneurs and creative groups to expand market access, network, and showcase their offerings to both domestic and international tourists.

ITDC Commercial & Marketing Director, Febrina Mediana, highlighted that the BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market aligns with ITDC’s long-term destination activation strategy, designed to deliver added value to tourists while extending tangible benefits to the local community.
”BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market 2026 is more than just an event; it is a core component of ITDC’s strategy to solidify The Nusa Dua’s positioning as a living destination that delivers real benefits to tourism, the local economy, and the environment. Through this initiative, we aim to provide a collaborative space that opens broader growth opportunities for MSMEs, communities, and creative players, while introducing the richness of Balinese culture to domestic and international travelers.
We believe a world-class destination is measured not only by the quality of its infrastructure and services, but also by its capacity to generate shared value for society. Therefore, through our collaboration with BRI, we envision the BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market as a bridge connecting tourists, businesses, communities, and the broader industry within a unified ecosystem that drives local economic growth, cultural preservation, and a more inclusive, sustainable approach to tourism,” said Febrina.

The event’s commitment to sustainability is further demonstrated through a partnership with Waste4Change as the official waste management partner. An integrated waste management system—covering waste segregation to post-event processing—has been deployed in line with Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) principles. This initiative aims not only to ensure responsible waste management throughout the event, but also to educate the public on the importance of circular economy practices and sustainable living.
Through collaboration with BRI, the Badung Regency Government, Waste4Change, local communities, and MSMEs, ITDC expects the BRI Nusa Dua Eco Market to reinforce The Nusa Dua’s standing as “Bali’s Finest Family-Friendly Resort Haven.” The project underscores ITDC’s broader commitment to developing competitive, inclusive, and sustainable destinations that elevate Indonesian tourism on the global stage.
